דרייק הכריז רשמית על האלבום כמה שעות לפני שהוציא את המיקסטייפ Dark Lane Demo Tapes שעתיד לצאת בקיץ 2020[2].
ב-29 ביולי פורסם שהאלבום 90% מוכן[3].
