Arie Wissmann  Born March 16, 1948 the son of Leo Wissmann late, is married with three children wood engineer , industrialist, entrepreneur and social activist. Grew up in Kerem Avraham in Jerusalem and graduated from high school teachers college ,Then he joined the Army And served 3 years in an elite intelligence unit under the Commander Avraham Arnan late, and continued to serve in an intelligence unit until the age of 55.
Upon completion of his military service, he flew to Germany to study wood engineering and graduated with honors. Upon graduation, he entered the old family business that his father established in Jerusalem, in 1932.  In 1972 , he and his family established a new factory in the Talpiot industrial zone in Jerusalem, " Wissmann house", a factory he designed as part of his studies at a school in Germany and gained publicity and recognition in professional magazines throughout Europe . The work was rated as one of the best "master" works in Germany and Europe in general.
After returning to Israel from Germany, the company began to carry out projects of historical significance in Israel and abroad and participated in many projects including furniture production for government offices, hospitals, the Mormon University, the President's Office, the Prime Minister's Office, the company also carried out projects abroad. The Embassy In Cairo, the Israeli Embassy in Cyprus (in 1991 the Embassy served as a conduit for bringing returning residents from the Soviet Union to Israel), the company also conducted 7 schools on the island of Mauritius, 40 schools in Iran and Israeli embassies around the world. Coping with cancer - in 2008 was diagnosed and cancer health care, assisted Dr. pie home the Hadassah Medical Center and after 9 months of intensive treatment , beat the disease and returned to continue doing business and community.

In the duration of the years worked Arie Wissmann and his brother Nachum wissmann business expansion and together formed the "Wissmann Holdings  "which is a group of global companies. In 1999 , the company acquired the brand and operations of the " Shomrat Hazorea " furniture chain , which then had 3 branches and now has 10 branches .  In 2013, they purchased the children's furniture brand "Ein Harod Furniture", which is currently deployed in Israel with 30 marketers. , the group acquired the "Miskal" baby furniture brand in 2016  . Global activity - In 2018 , together with his brother Nahum Wissmann, he established a furniture company abroad that specializes in furniture trade between countries and as part of its operation from the company markets furniture from Germany to Lithuania, Turkey to Ukraine and more. Recognition and recognition as an industrialist - In 2013 , Arie Wissmann was awarded the prestigious "Industrial Award" by the Manufacturers' Association, in recognition of his work in Israeli industry for decades , including training trainees in the profession and general support in the national furniture industry. In 2017 , the company decided to build an industrial center in Bar Lev Industrial Park in the north of israel, a 12-dunam center with quality construction, automation and advanced technical improvements from the best in Israel.  In one of the interviews he gave Arie Wissmann , as he recovered from the disease over a decade ago after a series of treatments for debilitating, said, "I feel like a ten years old who is all the future before him , the proportions on life has changed completely , was once personal fear, fear businesses, he disappears with the recovered" With the support of his wife Nilli Wissmann, the daughter of Rabbi Eliyahu Manny of Hebron, she is a nurse by profession, a teacher of nurses and an officer in the Medical Corps, he was able to defeat the disease. Today, Arie Wissmann, together with his brother Nahum , owns Wissmann Holdings, which owns a number of furniture companies in Israel and around the world and employs about 180 people. In 2020, the company decided to participate in the furniture exhibition in the United Arab Emirates and for the first time, an Israeli company will be participate in the international furniture exhibition in May 2021 in Dubai.

After recovering from the illness Heather man in his desire of giving and helping others, and now is getting many inquiries and regularly help and support in families who can not afford, so the associations, Basic Military , day centers, community settlements  , Burnt houses, houses damaged by hostilities, various institutions such as Shalva, Herzog Hospital and many others .Among the ongoing activities in support of the community: the "Hapoel Jerusalem" basketball team , friends of the "Beit Nehemia" youth center , the "Jerusalem Manufacturers Association" and the "National Association" and in its public activities a director and shareholder serves at the Jerusalem public organization From the field of industry.
