חלישה וכבילה
חלישה וכבילה (באנגלית:Government and binding או בקיצור GB, GBT) היא תיאוריה של תחביר ודקדוק של מבנה פסוקית במסורת הדקדוק התזוזתי[אנ] שפותחה בעיקר על ידי נועם חומסקי בשנות השמונים[1]. תיאוריה זו מהווה עדכון קיצוני של תיאוריות הקודמות לה[2][3][4], והיא תוקנה מאוחר יותר בתוכנית המינימליסטית (1995)[5] ובכמה מאמרים שלאחר מכן, האחרון היה Three Factors in Language Design[6].
שם התיאוריה מצביע על שני המרכיבים העיקריים שלה:
- חלישה, שהיא יחס תחבירי מופשט החל, בין היתר, על הקצאת יחסות.
- כבילה, העוסקת בעיקר ביחסים שבין כינויי גוף לביטויים שהם מתייחסים אליהם.
חלישה וכבילה הייתה התיאוריה הראשונה שהתבססה על מודל העקרונות והפרמטרים של השפה, שעומד גם בבסיס ההתפתחויות המאוחרות יותר של התוכנית המינימליסטית.

היישום העיקרי של חלישה נוגע להקצאת יחסות. חלישה מוגדרת כדלהלן:

- A שולט על B. קודקוד בעץ תחבירי נקרא שולט אם הוא אחד מהקטגוריות הלקסיקליות (פועל V, שם עצם N, שם תואר A, מילת יחס P)
Governors are heads of the lexical categories (V, N, A, P) and tensed I (T). A m-commands B if A does not dominate B and B does not dominate A and the first maximal projection of A dominates B, where the maximal projection of a head X is XP. This means that for example in a structure like the following, A m-commands B, but B does not m-command A:
