התחרות הלאומית לבחירת נציגות גרניה באירוויזיון נערכה בהנובר והונחתה על ידי אנקה אנגלקה.
12 מתמודדים השתתפו בתחרות נוספים, מתכונת ההצבעה הייתה במשקל שליש לציבור הצופים, שליש לציבור מאזיני הרדיו ושליש לצוות שיפוט.
