יליד אור עקיבא אביאל בן חמו החל לשחק כדורגל בקבוצת הילדים של מכבי נתניה עד נערים א בנוער שיחק במדי רמת השרון שאף זכה איתם בגביע המדינה לנוער בשנת 2017/18
את קריירת הבוגרים החל עם הפועל ניר רמת השרון בעונת 2019/20 בליגה לאומית הופעת הבכורה שלו היתה ב1 לאוגוסט 2019 שער הבכורה של בן חמו היה נגד הפועל עפולה במסגרת גביע הטוטו באותו עונה כבש 3 שערים והגיע לפלייאוף העליון של הליגה הלאומית לאחר מכם המשיך לעונה נוספת בהפועל ניר רמת השרון עונת 2020/21 באותה עונה כבש 3 שערים בכל המסגרות והגיע לפלייאוף העליון של הליגה הלאומית
לאחר מיכן עבר בהשאלה להפועל חדרה מליגת העל לעונה אחת בעונת 2021/22 שער הבכורה של בן חמו היה בתיקו 2-2 מול הפועל באר שבע במדיה לאחר מיכן כבש 2 שערים נוספים בכל המסגרות ואז חזר להפועל ניר רמת השרון בעונת 2022/23 בעונה הנוכחית עבר אביאל בן חמו מהפועל ניר רמת השרון להפועל אום אל פאחם והעונה יש לו כבר 2 שערי ליגה

Born in Or Akiva Avial Ben Hamo, he started playing football in the Maccabi Netanya children's team until Naarim A. In his youth he played for the Ramat Hasharon uniform with which he won the State Youth Cup in 2017/18
He began his senior career with Hapoel Nir Ramat Hasharon in the 2019/20 season in the National League. His debut was on August 1, 2019. Ben Hamo's debut goal was against Hapoel Afula in the Toto Cup that season. He scored 3 goals and reached the top playoffs of the National League after you continued for another season. In Hapoel Nir Ramat Hasharon season 2020/21 In that season he scored 3 goals in all frames and reached the top playoffs of the National League
