TV Tropes הוא אתר ויקי האוסף ומתעד תיאורים ודוגמאות של "Tropes", מוסכמות עלילתיות הנפוצות ביצירות בדיוניות.[1]
האתר הוקם ב-2004 והתמקד בסדרות ותוכניות טלוויזיה וסרטי קולנוע, ומאז הרחיב את מאגר היצירות כך שיכלול את כל סוגי המדיה: מחזות תיאטרון, ספרות כתובה, קומיקס מערבי ואסייתי, שירים, פרסומות, משחקי וידאו, יצירות מעריצים ועוד.
עיסוקו של האתר בתרבות הפופולרית משך ביקורות והתייחסות מצד אושיות רשת וכותבי בלוגים.
האתר מכיל כ-30,000 "Tropes" ומכסה כ-80,000 יצירות.[2]
